Review for Hope Stone, Inc, Houston, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

As a busy professional who seeks refuge in dance, I cannot say enough positive things about Hope Stone. The teachers are top-notch and unlike other adult dance classes, there is an emphasis on technique. Jane Weiner has boundless energy, which she devotes to making art, sharing art, teaching art, and just making this world a better place. If you, or anyone you know, has any interest in dance, Hope Stone is the place to get your dance on!

Review for Hope Stone, Inc, Houston, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have studied dance for many years in different countries and cities in the U.S., and Hope Stone is one of the most welcoming and supportive studios I have had the pleasure of being involved with. It is also the only place I have studied ballet as an adult where we are taught all aspects of technique, and the classes are not simply a means to generate revenue. I have also had the honor of working with Jane on the Illuminations Project, and have witnessed how her enthusiasm and dedication motivate others to get involved and volunteer. Jane is an inspiration, and Hope Stone a home for those of us impassioned by dance.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

learning directions for the head in ballet!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

a shared love of movement.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

supportive, kind, and unpretentious.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the lives of many children, and adults. Also, it could bring live musicians to all classes, and thereby heighten our appreciation for music in addition to movement and technique.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week
