Review for Hope Stone, Inc, Houston, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Hope Stone is an AMAZING non-profit that has helped my son explore the arts since he was 8 years old. He's now 17 and is planning on majoring in theater in college! He has taken Hope Stone classes for years and learned from Jane Weiner and Gayla Miller about the importance of giving back: he works with them teaching seniors how to act. Their enthusiasm is contagious. There are always unique events that Hope Stone is doing -- like backpacks for underprivileged kids and drumming with Veterans. It's a wonderful organization and I'm so grateful it's been around for 20 years!

Review for Hope Stone, Inc, Houston, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Hope Stone is such a nurturing place for artists of all ages. My 9 year old has enjoyed their fantastic free KIDS PLAY program (something we couldn't afford without the scholarship) and I have enjoyed drum lessons. Jane is passionate about the arts which inspires the children -- as do her productions on the big stage. They see her onstage and then get to leap up there themselves in their own productions. We love Hope Stone!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the enthusiastic feeling I get everytime I walk through the door. The entire staff is passionate about the arts -- in fact, we see them supporting arts events throughout the community. It's truly a family experience for us.
