Review for Parelli Foundation Inc, Huntersville, NC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

We are a Guide Star Exchange Gold member non profit that provides educational experiences in Natural Horsemanship for youth and adults to be applied to horse welfare, therapeutics, recreational , equi-business, and both competitive and recreational equestrian endeavors. By providing scholarships and voluntary assistance to attend course, seminars, and clinics nationwide in all these areas, the outreach is significant and the results are long lasting for those who are touched.

Goal of the organization is " Making the world a better place for horses and humans"

I have been involved with horses for many years and was introduced to Natural Horsemanship when my daughters sought it out as a replacement for competition. That was 13 years ago. My family and I have been deeply affected by the Parelli Natural Horsemanship methods. Both of my daughters are now grown and are teachers, my eldest a Professional Natural Horsemanship Instructor.

Time and space here is too short, but in short I will say, I chose to become involved as a volunteer to assist in the many terrific opportunities that the institute offers. Supporting Rehoming (Mustang Rescue), horse welfare projects (Humane Society of America), youth education projects (Summer Camps), and Education (Professional Instructor Training, Recreational Riding, Competitive application) makes a very broad area of volunteer base to support. Myself and many others dedicate our time and efforts to meet the goals of the Institute.

I am truly bessed and honored to be a part

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Seek out more money to contact more horse owners.
