Review for Forever Husky, Inc., Crystal Lake, IL, USA
Forever Husky is one amazing organization!! They are very passionate in what they do. The dedication they have in saving these beautiful dog's lives is remarkable. Their number one goal is getting these dogs a forever home, not only that they deserve, but one that will be the best fit for them, as well as their new owner. Lance, (owner/founder) of forever husky is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He wants nothing but the best for every one of these dogs, to the point of going that extra mile to ensure they will have a wonderful life, that these dogs beyond deserve.
Speaking from personal experience...
I got my boy Jesse in July, 2014. He pretty much fell in my lap. I was on my computer when I somehow stumbled upon forever husky. I noticed they were based close to my old hometown, Elgin. Although I wasn't necessarily looking for a husky at that given point in time, I filled out an application, listed my references, and gave them my "dream dog" list of what I was looking for in a Husky. After reviewing their current rescue dogs, I came across Jesse's page, and instantly knew he was the one! It's funny because although Jesse didn't exactly match up to my initial "list," I just knew I had to adopt him, and so thankful I did. Jesse is one most amazing dogs I have ever had the privilege on owning and we are so blessed to have him in our lives! It's crazy to think he was ever a stray and amazes me on how wonderful he is knowing that fact. Stumbling on Jesse's profile, It's like we were both meant to cross paths and end up in each others lives. He is very intelligent (w/ little work, learns tricks easily), very loyal, loves to play, and a huge ball of love! Our main concern about adopting was the fact we had a 7-week year old kitten when we got Jesse (4yrs. old), and huskies tend to be prey driven so of course that worried us. Nothing to worry about on that end! They are best of friends (to point out kitten Dane will eat/drink out of Jesse's food/water bowl at same time lol). Jesse is a dominant dog, which I personally like, but is so sweet as to wouldn't harm a fly.
Bottom line, if you are considering about adopting, don't hesitate. These dogs are as wonderful as any of the dogs you would find at your local breeder, and the best part is you are saving a beautiful life. The feeling you will receive on that alone is very satisfying, but the love your rescue dog will give back is irreplaceable. I couldn't imagine my life now without Jesse. I hope that everyone can experience the joy I have felt in adopting one of these amazing dogs from ForeverHusky!!!
Forever Husky is an amazing organization. Lance is very personable and will do whatever it takes to ensure these dogs have the best life possible!!!
So stop thinking about adopting, and just do! You won't regret!! Forever Husky is not just an organization, it's an extended family!! Thank you for saving lives just like Jesse!!
