Review for Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (USA), Edison, NJ, USA
It was summer of 2005 when I first heard Dr. Rakesh Jhaveri (fondly addressed as “Bapa”), founder of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission, Dharamapur (SRMD) who was addressing a large gathering of people in Queens, New York. While I went to listen to him out of sheer curiosity, it was a life-changing event for me. Over the years, I saw the enormous social work that this organization (SRMD) has been doing – be it spiritual elevation and personal growth of people, touching the lives of the children, helping less fortunate people with needed medical assistance, women’s health and their upliftment, children’s education, rehab centers for elderly, and soup kitchens to list a few. I have confidently and joyfully supported this organization for the past few years because it cares for the physical and spiritual needs of people in ways that are sustainable and empowering to the recipients. I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful mission, and I will continue to do so.
