Review for Diamond in the Rough Youth Development Inc, Snellville, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My experience has been as a volunteer and committee member. I enjoy working with Dr. Steele and the other staff members. The young ladies that are a part of the program are growing and maturing because of the awesome mentor volunteers and the wonderful relationships that they are building with each other. I love this organization!

Being a volunteer for over 6 years with such an outstanding organization has been a rewarding experience. The team of ladies that I work with on a monthly basis are the most positive, most genuine, and most uplifting group of ladies that I have ever worked with. The girls who are a part of the organization benefit greatly from the awesome women who they engage with weekly. This organization provides the girls with love, support, understanding, reassurance, goal setting, long term planning, and a bright outlook on life. This organization is second to none and they serve the community with pride and they do a good job. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Being a volunteer for several years and now being a current board member of Diamond in the Rough (DITR) has been a true blessing in my life. My life is forever changed due to my participation with DITR and working closely with the founder and visionary of this dynamic organization. The community and the girls that DITR serve week after week year after year is forever changed for the better. I love working with young girls and women helping them to discover their self-worth and their gifts. DITR is very organized, compassionate, professional, and dedicated to enhancing and changing lives of women and young girls. I could go on and on about how awesome DITR is and will continue to be. If you are ever in the Snellville, GA area and want to see how empowering this organization is, stop by and visit and get a real life experience of lives being changed for the better.

Diamond In The Rough is an awesome youth development program. This program is a very much needed organization for such a time as this. I have been affiliated with DITR for more than 4 years and I have seen lives being changed and individuals grow in their own rights by leaps and bounds. DITR is a youth program that is structured to help shape young girls and young adults but there are also events and activities that are geared toward shaping women. Close to two years ago I had the opportunity to attend an event where mothers and daughters were given the charge to open up and break curses and break down barriers that were causing discord in the relationship and this event was not only life changing for me, but for all of the families that participated. I still recollect on the what I gained and learned from that event. Mrs. Nicole Steele is an angel right here on earth. Mrs. Nicole Steele has a heart for young girls and people. God is the head of this organization and Nicole has taking the charge of what it is that God has called her to do. She and her team are changing "one child, one family, one community at a time."
