AAE is a wonderful example of how a rescue should be run. Wendy and many other dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to meet or exceed each animal's individual needs. Each animal is genuinely cared for and loved (many for the first time). Once they have been rehabilitated and are strong enough to start their new life, they are lovingly placed in their new home. AAE is a slice of heaven on earth!
