Review for Ministry Among Native Americans Inc, Wichita, KS, USA

Rating: 5 stars

If you are looking for a small non-profit organization to support via prayer, financial or physically this is a definitely one that is hands-on and growing. If you are looking for a mission trip opportunity stateside please contact these people. They have opportunities for individuals or groups. This organization believes in teaching the Native Americans in their home environment. They don't give hand outs then give a hand up. Our family has done numerous summer mission trips with them doing various building projects, home ministries and family VBS. Every time we all come having received far more than we gave. Our children would like to move out there and live ... and if the Lord leads, we'd be honored too!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the lives of the Navajo people that we have met while out serving.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

pray for God's direction on how to get awareness of the ministry out to others.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the fact they are real people just like us serving God by ministering to the Native Americans here on our own soil.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very friendly, willing to work/help, open to direction, loving, compassionate, giving, happy.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

teach and change the lives of Native Americans as well as all those who come alongside and serve/volunteer.

Ways to make it better...

we had more funds to have been able to complete the building project we were helping with.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

its small and growing and needs others to come along side as it grows.

One thing I'd also say is that...

thanks for the opportunity for our family to get our hands dirty, to get the opportunity to know the American Indians better, for touching our hearts and having a wonderful missions experience with our children.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
