Review for Globe of the Great Southwest Inc, Odessa, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Have served as a board member and a volunteer. Have attended most of the productions at the Globe. Am aware of the variety of productions that happen on the stage of the Globe.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Productions are of the highest quality and the staff does a great job of blending professional actors with amateurs whether they be experienced amateurs or new beginners.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

More marketing of the Globe is needed. More board members are needed that are willing to be involved in supporting and encouraging the mission of the Globe.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The dedication of the staff and the other volunteers that I have worked with. The importance of education in the mission of the Globe.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

The professional staff at the Globe are very qualified and the Globe is fortunate to have them. Volunteers are very dedicated and will help anywhere needed.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

The Globe could be improved to be all that is needed to be a first class theater. Emphasis could be placed on marketing so that everyone could be aware of the fantastic facility available in Odessa, Texas.

Ways to make it better...

More people were attending the productions. More volunteers are needed in order for all the performances to be a more enjoyable experience for theater public.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Lack of funding. More support from the corporate community as well as the public and educational institutions.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I believe the support of the arts is dying. The younger generation is more concerned with cell phones, computers, and other technology. Some how we need to get them involved in the arts. How we do that is the big question.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
