NatureServe provides an invaluable service to conservation organizations, government agencies, and the public in a variety of ways. They provide a clearinghouse for information on the location and condition of rare species throughout the North America, provide a wide array of conservation planning and evaluation tools, and perhaps most importantly, leadership in the conservation of biodiversity.
