Review for Foundation To Assist Young Musicians (FAYM), Las Vegas, NV, USA

Rating: 5 stars

As a volunteer teacher with FAYM, I've been working with kindergarten kids with much enthusiasm and passion. I contribute to FAYM violin program more than 10 hours a week teaching kids the basics on how to play the violin, and I hope they can build self-esteem and confidence by devoloping their talents and being a well-round citizen of this country.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

promoting young musicians in their studies and career. Giving opportunities to inner city kids to study violin and develop their talents in music.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

do no changes now, but I need to see how it goes.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the opportunity to teach young kids and see their progress.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Maestro Hal Weller and Arturo Ochoa who are very supportive of my work.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand and be successful in Las Vegas

Ways to make it better...

I had more support in the community and more visibility, and financial support so that I could dedicate more this cause.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

getting it running smoothly despite all odds as well as financial support to keep it running.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I'd like to help more not only teaching but also contributing financially to this noble cause.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
