I have referred 3 friends to Support Connection in the last year and each of them told me how comforting it was to speak to someone knowledgeable who had been thru what they are going thru. They also were relieved to be able to go to them for information as well as the counseling. I have been a supporter of this organization for over 20 years and it has only gotten better! They still offer FREE one-on-one counseling but now they also have many classes and programs offered remotely and in person. They have directly helped thousands of women thru one of the hardest times of their lives. I can't recommend them enough.

I have seen first hand the difference this group makes in the lives of people diagnosed with breast cancer. After one call to a counselor my friend said she felt less fear and more informed. The fact that the services are free and that the counselors are them selves cancer survivors makes this group unique.

The staff at Support Connection always impresses me. There is always an understanding voice at the end of the line. The peer counselors have been there themselves so they get it. The fact that this service is free is astounding and so important.

This is one of the most well run, dynamic, and truly effective not for profit organizations I have ever seen. This is a group that provides comfort, information and compassion to women at possibly the worst time in their lives. I have such admiration for the staff and volunteers - their caring is so evident - these are not jobs you do for the money. The atmosphere of caring and gentle support is immediately felt whether you are on the phone or walking in the door. I just can't say enough about them.
