I am honored to be a volunteer for Best Foot Forward. They do so much for the children they assist, they give them a chance at an education they would otherwise have missed out on. Not only does BFF reach out to kids who are in the foster care system and help them with their academic successes, they will follow these kids once entered into the BFF program as they are moved from one foster home to another or group home to another or placed back with their parents and then removed again and through the most turbulent times of their lives....the BFF girls (Debbie and Donna) and their specific tutors that have been supporting these children will actually find where the kids were moved to and go there and bring their academic files so the new school who now these kids are placed with (it can be up to 4-5-6-7-8 moves in one year by the way) this school will now see this student as a PERSON with someone who cares and knows them and how to help them achieve academic success.

I am amazed how they do this, where anyone else just lets these kids slip through the cracks, with BFF once they are a student part of the program they are there for them all the way through graduation and now I've seen them even help these kids move into college and be there for them in a way we all would be for our own kids. These children have someone who will always and forever love and care about them unconditionally. That is Best Foot Forward, BFF.

I am honored and proud and in awe to be part of this organization that has changed the future path of these children into adulthood and also changed the paths of their future generations!
