My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Transitional Programs for Women, Spokane, WA, USA
I worked at the Womens Hearth for a few months when I was a college student. One thing that I thought was very important about the Hearth, and Transitions overall, was that they focused on ways to truly help women in helping themselves. They provide lots of tools and opportunities for the women to improve themselves and learn skills that can help them in becoming more independent.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my time with the staff at the Womens Hearth, and the Transitions staff outside of the Hearth. They are all extremely caring, driven, and compassionate women that are always a pleasure to be around.
Ways to make it better...
I could have worked at the Hearth longer! Since I was a work study student, I had to stop working there when I graduated from college.
