Review for Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence, San Jose, CA, USA
We all know someone, a co-worker, a family member, a neighbor, who is experiencing domestic violence at this time. Next Door gives us a place to ask questions, refer someone for a safe haven, or to find a resource for prevention. NEXT DOOR Solutions for Domestic Violence is such a critical part of our community and we recognize them especially as we move into October, Domestic Violence Awareness month. Without Next Door, many affected by Domestic Violence would have absolutely no where to turn. Please support Next Door in their mission to end Domestic Violence - through your financial support or volunteering of your time. You may also donate items for the Holiday Boutique where hundreds of children and their moms have an opportunity, sometimes the only one they will have at the season, to give a gift to one another - a symbol of their love and commitment through these tough times.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The stories of women who have changed their lives and become safe and once again active in the community due to the resources of Next Door.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The care and commitment of the staff and the positive reputation in the community.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Bright, caring, committed, humble, and persistent. They are always going beyond what one would expect in order to make a difference in one more life.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Build more safe havens for families.
Ways to make it better...
I had $10M and would be able to fund additional resources including staff and increase prevention awareness and educational opportunties in the community.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
The demand for services is never ending and the financial and people resources are being stretched - always finding creative, practical, and meaningful ways to do more with less.
