My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Arlington Street People's Assistance Network, Inc., Arlington, VA, USA
This is my first year working with the program at the shelter. I have worked in the kitchen each night and find everything well organized and ready to be used. There is always enough food for each client to have as much as they want. The meals are well balanced and always hot. At the end of the dinner hour lunches are brought in for the next day. Each client is given clean bedding and has an opportunity to shower and have clothes laundered. The staff that run the shelter make it a welcoming place for both clients and volunteers. Pat A.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The interaction with both clients and volunteers and the quality and quantity of meals provided
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
always there to answer questions and greet you as you came in.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
It is my 1st year so I'm still learning what they do but maybe set up training for the clients interested
Ways to make it better...
I had started volunteering sooner!
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the increasing numbers of people needing shelter
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every week
