I've been a member of the LM Alcott Arts Center for 11 years, and love everything that the Alcott does. My daughter, who is 8, has grown up at the Alcott, and loves participating in all kinds of events! We both had the pleasure of presenting spoken word poetry earlier this year when the Kansas Poet Laureate visited the Alcott, and we attend art classes each week as well. My nieces have both also had their theatrical debut thanks to Alcott productions!

I also had the pleasure of directing the show, "Alice in Wonderland" this year at the Alcott, which just finished its final performance yesterday. The cast and crew are very tight-knit and full of talent! I truly will miss working with them each day, and can't wait to see them in future Alcott productions and events!

The Alcott is a true community, and I consider many of the people there family. I will continue to recommend the LM Alcott Arts Center to anyone who truly loves all forms of art and wants to thrive in a supportive artistic environment!

The Alcott Arts Center has been part of my life for the past 5 years, & I treasure each moment I spend with the wonderful people there. I'm a Lampwork Bead & Jewelry artist, & have had many opportunities to not only show my art through Second Saturday exhibits, but to also teach it! I was thrilled to teach an 8 week class this summer & really show off how I create my unique artwork. I'm also an avid theater participant, & have had made many wonderful friends & memories through such productions as "Comedy of Errors" (Stage Manager), "Heidi" (Co-Director), "Hamlet" (Co-Director), & "The Merchant of Venice" (Director). In addition to all this, I love volunteering my time at the Alcott with their numerous other groups & functions, including Halloween at the Alcott, Flying Asbinis Traveling Arts-Travaganza, Mid-Life Players productions & many more. I look forward to all that the Alcott offers, & being a part of the Alcott family for many years to come.
