My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for LA Diaper Drive, Santa Monica, CA, USA
LA diaper Drive is one of my favorite charities. I was first won over by its founder, Caroline Kunitz. She is an inspiration. I am always amazed by the impact of one person's motivation to do something more for this world. She balances a busy life with her philanthropic work, and sends a message that all it takes is a vision and a good heart. Subsequently she dedicates countless hours and hard work, which in turn motivates her volunteers. It has been amazing watching her build this worthy initiative from the ground up. As a volunteer this year, I always felt like a valued member of the team!! LADD is very inclusive. And its associates, board members, and fellow volunteers are genuinely kind and friendly. Makes working together a pleasure, and creates a fantastic environment. Lastly, the charity itself speaks to my heart. The formula is so simple and yet the impact is profound. For me it is about Los Angeles mothers helping Los Angeles mothers. As a young mom myself, in the throws and pressures that come along with little ones, I can all too well recognize the great needs LADD meets. They are truly making a very real difference. With all of their associated partner organizations, LADD is so much more than an independent diaper donator. But they sure are good at getting the job done!
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Just watch it grow! And use media to spread its message.

For the time you spent, how much of an impact did you feel your work or activity had?
Did the organization use your time wisely?
