Review for Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary, Stockton, CA, USA
A wonderful organization absolutely dedicated to the animals they rescue. I've visited two different times. The people who work there are some of the most caring and compassionate people I've ever met. You can tell that they love their job and the enthusiasm is contagious! It is so easy to fall in love with the animals after spending an afternoon getting to know them and their personalities! One of my favourites is Kona the turkey - he loves to show off his beautiful feathers to visitors. I love being able to keep in touch with the sanctuary via social media, getting updates about animal friends and seeing new rescue and adoption efforts. Harvest Home is an amazing place for humans and animals!

Participating in Animal Place's internship program was incredible. The compassion and dedication of the staff was so inspirational. I learned so about animal care by spending one-on-one time with the animals, as well as participating in a variety of lectures and field trips. I continue to tell people about my experiences at the sanctuary. Thank you for all of the amazing work you do for the animals!
