Review for Project Open Hand, San Francisco, CA, USA
After learning about Project Open Hand through the documentary "We Were There," I began to volunteer three years ago. I feel so proud to participate in such a long-standing, intelligent, and downright kind organization. It truly reflects the community values I cherish, not just on paper, but in its day to day action. Volunteering there helps me get grounded in the basics of life and has helped me get to know a wide array of lovely clients, volunteers, and staff members.
