Review for Educational Institute, CRS, Chicago, IL, USA

Rating: 4 stars

As a volunteer and organizer, I am impressed by the personal attention that the agency provides; either through their workshops or office interactions. The staff makes everyone feel comfortable, listens to any concerns and shares information that can be useful in endeavors which help people to be whole. Such as people with backgrounds, wanting to start their own business, enroll in apprenticeship programs, get involved in a support group, file legal petitions for background assistance, identify programs and projects for youth and seniors, conducting workshops for financial literacy or get involved in the arts or talent industry. Anti-Violence programs Peace Circles Englewood Youth Idol Empowerment Cafe Expungement workshops Back to School events Family Fun Fest Legal and Community Service Day A variety of focuses for the entire family. Awesome!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the past four years just watching how the agency demand for sevices has grown

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Watching people lives being changed, hearing testimonies from involved youth, seniors or clients who have received services, Of course attending events

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

from all age groups which let me know that is something for everyone. Family friendly events, interactions that promoted cross-generational bridging, each willingness to assist with any concerns or questions and most of all; everyone carried a smile!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Expand the programs and services that are offered whereas it could reach more people, become better staffed, integrate into more communiities and possible become an international agency

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week
