Review for Seafarers House Inc, Port Everglades, FL, USA
Seafarers' House provides pastoral care and practical assistance to seafarers and port workers at Port Everglades , FL. Seafarers (crew members) transport 90% of the world's commerce by sea. They are allowed only a few hours off the ship when they come into port. Seafarers' House provides access to much needed services in a safe, reliable, and friendly environment. We are there to help them deal with their issues at sea, such as lonliness, family separation, work related issues, spiritual and faith services or just being a friendly voice to talk to. They can also take care of all their needs, such as calling home, wiring money, buying necessities, and enjoy a game of pool, or simply watch television, or read a book. We provide all-inclusive services to our seafarers which is vital to them, as they do not have much time off the ship.
