Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been going to The Animal Sanctuary for almost 20 years now. It is the most asked for place to visit by friends and family that come to visit Colorado. Plus my friends here in Colorado want to visit more after one visit. Every visit for me is different. To just watch these beautiful magnificant animals be able to live out their lives and be cared for so well is a joy. When you learn the horrific background stories of these animals, you are especially thankful for them being there. The staff and volunteers are always so informative and helpful. I try to go 3 or 4 times a year just to take in everything. This is what a real, caring sanctuary should be like. The education aspect is so important even in this day, when people are truly misinformed about big cats, bears etc in circuses or road side zoos. Kudos to TWAS always for what they do. Review for PetChance.org, Northborough, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

When my cat Buddy was ill this past summer, he ended up needing surgery twice. I had already incurred some hugh vet bills with visits to the animal emergency and my vet. My resources were pretty non-existant, although it did not deter me from getting the care Buddy needed. My vet told me about petchance.org. I went on their site, got all set up and let my family and friends far and wide know about this great way petchance helps people like me. It was a great experience and so helpful with being able to let people know of my (and Buddy's) need financially. There are so few resources out there for folks who want to care for their pets, but cannot afford to. A site like Petchance.org is the perfect vehicle for helping people raise the monies they need. If you don't "ask" for help, you deny the opportunity for people to help you and your pet. I recommend Petchance.org ALL the time. I am in the animal welfare business both professionally and as a volunteer.....Kudos to Petchance.org and all the people who work there.

Just to make sure they encourage people to be proactive in posting and letting people know their need and that it is on petchance.org's site.
