Review for Center Point, San Rafael, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Almost 13 years ago I. Came to Marin with my toddler and the clothes on our back to enter Center Point. Little did I realize then, that it would be one of the most life changing experiences of my life, I was a mess when I arrived here, but by the Grace of God and all the wonderful staff that pushed me and believed in me, I stuck it out and first completed the program, went to transittional housing and continued my journey, finally graduating in April of 2003. But my journey has not ended because recovery is a life long process. Today I have my own place, my daughter just began high school and I was Blessed with a wonderful new career, helping other single parents. I continue to attend aftercare meetings most every week and I am so grateful to CP everyday for helping me gain my life back.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I oils not change it,but, I would definately encourage people to donate to this program because they would be very satisfied knowing that their money is truly going to change peoples lives!

Review for Adopt A Family of Marin, San Rafael, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Wow, where do I begin? Adopt A Family of Marin and everyone who works for the organization are without a doubt the "ANGELS" of this community. They have been a huge Blessing in my life and I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to them for all the help and support they have shown me. I moved to this county 13 years ago with my young daughter, and began my journey in recovery and a new life. After completing treatment and transitional housing, I was fortunate enough to receive a section 8 voucher. Without the help of this organization, I would not have been able to move into housing as working in retail, did not allow me to be able to save for such expenses. Adopt A Family has also been there for support and has helped me become a more successful person. I am so very Blessed by their generosity.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I can't think of anything I would change about this organization as they are fabulous!
