My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for The Phoenix Chorale, Phoenix, AZ, USA
If you wish to transcend your everyday life, for just two hours, and be swept away by the sheer joy of experiencing and listening to the pitch perfect soul of The Phoenix Chorale, then please do so, and you will thank yourself. The range of programming material, performed by twenty-eight consummately gifted tenor, baritone, soprano and alto voices, now in their 60th year, with Grammy nominations and awards, is breathtaking. The 2018-2019 season has been set aside to search for a new Artistic Director, and the finalists are: James K. Bass, Christopher Gabbitas, Brian A. Schmidt, and Jenny Wong. You are invited to join in on the quest. How wonderful it that!
Review for Friends of Public Radio Arizona, Tempe, AZ, USA
I think that everyone who has posted a review here in this blog in respect of 'Friends of Public Radio Arizona' has covered all the wonderful reasons that we continue to support KJZZ & KBAQ (KBACH). We are so fortunate to have both FM stations, and we are spoiled for choice throughout the day, everyday. All that I can add here is that if KJZZ & KBAQ doesn't turn you on, contact me and I'll provide batteries, free of charge.
Review for Scottsdale International Film Festival Inc , Phoenix, AZ, USA
As a life-long film buff, I initially started attending SIFF when it first began in 2001, just a few weeks following "9/11"-- amazing that it not only got off the ground, but was well-attended, and started a buzz in the Valley. The Festival has grown immensely, as regards the numbers of attendees and films, and therefore had the need to move to a larger venue to accommodate all. It is sheer pleasure to be part of this whole organization. I have been a volunteer since the 2nd year, and I will continue to support the wonderful world that Amy Ettinger has brought to this corner of the globe.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Are you kidding? How does one improve perfection?
Would you volunteer for this group again?
For the time you spent, how much of an impact did you feel your work or activity had?
Did the organization use your time wisely?
Would you recommend this group to a friend?
