My Nonprofit Reviews

My name is Jennifer, and I am the Director of an After School Program that has partnered with CityScience. I had the opportunity to work with this organization as part of an initiative to teach students about green architecture. CityScience staff provided fun and engaging lessons over the course of the semester using hands-on activities that the students loved. Our students were so engaged by the material that they created their very own magazine called "Bump up the Green" for our Community Center's members. City Science also coordinated two exciting field trips to green buildings in New York City, which our students still talk about today. CityScience ensured the students were not just exposed to the material, but that they were able to apply it to their lives in a meaningful way.
