Review for The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation, Littleton, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am Canadian and I was the first person outside the USA to receive a "grant in principle" to assist in training my service dog. I did not use it and informed the foundation to pass it on.
The dedication of Doug and Julie Hutchison with all the volunteers in helping people and families impacted by seizure disorders is immeasurable. How does one measure the "peace of mind" and the "quality of life" the foundation has given people and families? I know the Hutchisons has always been there for me.

Hello,
I was the first person outside of the U.S.A. to receive a grant in principle from The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation. The grant was to assist in the training of my service dog. I respectfully turned down the offer of the draft as I felt there was a family in need more than myself.
I have been in very close contact with The CHF for over four years and I can say I do not know of any other organization as dedicated to their mission and they are.
Thank you
Les Landry - President - Respect the Service Dog.

This foundation is the most giving foundation I know of.
I am in Canada, and that never stopped Julie Hutchison from encouraging me to apply for a Service Dog Training Grant
The dedication and loyalty Julie and Doug have for people needing help is beyond measure. Julie is an amazing person, and I am blessed to know her.
Thank you CHF...

Hello and my name is Les.
I have a Service Dog in Training, her name is Annie. I was at the end of my rope, with trying get Annie's training and certification completed. I was out of money, and my "donations" were drying up.
Julie contacted me and told me she wanted to try and help. It took me a long time to even consider her offer. This had nothing to do with Julie, and CHF. But every thing to do with where my head space was at. And that is because every place I turned to, I was refused.
About a month went by and still no action on my part, Julie contacted me and asked about the application she sent me. I gave her my list of excuses, and she didn't want to hear it. She told me to, "Get it in."
I submitted it, and within a day, Julie confirmed that they will give me a grant to help cover some of Annie's Training. And the news came on Annie's first Birthday. It was the best present we could ever receive.
But most important is that, Julie got me going again with my fundraising, and my confidence.
Julie is the person that stood me back up, shook the dust off, and said "come walk with us." She walked in when everyone else was walking out, and for that I am most grateful.
I cannot believe the dedication and work Julie and her team puts in to helping others.
Thank you, and God Bless each and everyone of you....
Thank you,
from Les and Annie....
