Review for Special Olympics Texas Inc, Austin, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am a past board member of SOTX and have a passion for Special Olympics as my sister was one of the first athletes in this amazing organization. The underlying strengths of SOTX is the respect, the support and the unconditional love given to the athletes in this organization. SOTX helps to bring focus and value to the athletes and their families.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make people more aware of the joy that SOTX brings to the lives of it athletes and their families. Eunice Shriver said it best: "Some people call you [the athletes] handi-capped - I call you handi-capable".

Review for Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope, Inc., Palm Beach, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The dynamic of having to deal with financial and emotional trauma in addition to caring for a loved one who's being challenged by cancer can be devastating. It's easy to forget that cancer affects the entire family of the patient diagnosed with the disease. CAHH is focused on helping the entire family - doing things and offering support beyond the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. When a family needs "help" and "hope", CAHH is there!

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would expand public awareness.
