My 13 year-old daughter and her friends have been involved with LADC for many years. In fact she was involved with the people who started LADC before the group itself existed. If all LADC had done is introduce her to the world of Shakespeare that would be enough, since great literature is now ingrained in her life and will be forever. LADC also opened her up to the world of acting, an interest she intends to pursue throughout her life, or so she now says. And in doing the plays she has learned to work with her peers toward a shared goal in a way that I assume others do through organized sports. While I cannot always pinpoint the exact ways LADC has made my daughter a better person, I have no doubt that it has had that effect and feel fortunate that she is a part of LADC.
