My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Northend Jewish School, Seattle, WA, USA
We've had a great experience at SJCS. Our twin daughters are thriving there. For both kindergarten (Gan) and 1st grade, we've found the teachers to be thoughtful, astute, creative, and very experienced. We chose SJCS for the combined Jewish and general studies curriculum and have been thrilled to see our children's enthusiasm understanding, and love for Judaism and Jewish culture. At the same time their reading and math skills are taking off. The teachers appear able to keep our girls challenged while also addressing the specific needs of their classmates. In that sense you get what you pay for -- the teacher student ration is quite low. The first grade has 20 children and a total of three teachers during the day (usually 2 at a time).
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
seeing my children thrive since attending this school.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the quality education I see my kids getting.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
committed and talented. The teachers and staff are outstanding, and that is what makes the institution unique.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
provide more tuition assistance.
