Wild Love Preserve, pure and simple, saves horses lives from senseless slaughter. In our world, we are bombarded with a multitude of charities, causes, and special interest groups asking for our help. The uniqueness of WLP is in its simplicity of getting the job done efficiently, with hands in the dirt, and a direct donation-to-need approach. When I have donated, it has felt like I was personally delivering a flake of hay to a mare and her newborn colt. Andrea Maki, the founder of WLP, is a woman of rare integrity and passion dedicated to serving the horse. When I donate, I know in my heart, that every cent is being utilized to its highest and greatest use for the preservation and care of these majestic and peaceful beings, that simply want to live. This country was built on the backs of horses, lets honor them.
