My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for The Philadelphia Protestant Home, Philadelphia, PA, USA
I recently had a family crisis. Elderly parents living in their house, one is hospitalized the other cannot be alone in the house. My sister and I cope with the day to day care of the one left at home. We knew PPH was there. We had information about PPH, and conversation with our parents prior to this event, but they were never ready to leave their house. From the first encounter with all of the staff at PPH, everyone is helpful and supportive. My parents receive excellent care and now are in the Personal Care area of PPH. Many facilities indicate they are a family, but PPH is a community family. Not only do my parents receive help, but my sister and I are assisted by the Resident Care Coordinator. Benevolent care also is a mission of PPH, and my family has participated in offerings on a weekly basis for this mission. To tour PPH you see Benevolent care in action.
