Review for Amvets Post 8 Auxiliary, Malone, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Amvets Post 8 Ladies Auxiliary is a very active organization getting involved in Post, Veterans and Community activities. They are very supportive of Amvets and their aims and goals and assist whenever and in whatever capacity they can when asked. They put on dinners in which proceeds are given to all sorts of charitable causes from Freedom Foundation to PTSD to local causes. In supporting this club you help them to keep up their charitable work. They have a very active membership who are always ready and willing to volunteer for any of their many endeavors.

Malone Amvets is the oldest Amvets club in New York State being formed in July 1945. Malone Amvets keeps their clubhouse and grounds in excellent condition and have a great group of members that assist in their many endeavors. They have had a litlte league and T-ball program since the late 60's and are very dedicated to their youth program. In addition, they have both a mens and ladies softball league which play all summer long and provide much enjoyment for the participants and the local spectators that come to watch the evening games. Malone Amvets is also very involve in veterans activities and regularly send care packages to troops in combat zones. Malone Amvets is comprised of 4 different sub-organizations which include Amvets, Amvets Ladies Auxiliary, Sons of Amvets and The G. I. Club which is a general support organization open to anyone who is a non-veteran or has no veteran ties. For further information call 518-483-7177.
