Review for Encore Programs, Inc., Huntingtn Bch, CA, USA
Integrated Rehabilitation Therapies is unique among nonprofits serving developmentally disabled adults. Their use of the creative arts in group and individual therapy strategies has allowed clients to express themselves in ways not normally available to them from other nonprofits and provides opportunities of mainstreaming that population where other avenues may be closed to them.

Review for National Outdoor Leadership School, Lander, WY, USA
I took two courses from NOLS in the mid 70's - summer wilderness and winter mountaineering. To this day, I consider those experiences to be one of the defining moments of my life and one of the few things I've done that I'm truly proud of. The leadership lessons I learned I still use; the devotion to environmental issues is still strong with me, and I can still read a map. :) I encourage everyone I know to send their kids or grandkids to NOLS.
