Review for Candys Cats Inc, Orlando, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Ten years ago I was dealing with the nonstop birth of kittens in my back yard by the unsocialized colony that took up residence. I began catching, socializing and spaying/neutering the kittens, then finding them homes. The adults were TNR'd (trap, neuter, returned) and lived long lives, being cared for by the neighborhood. From this humble begininng, Candy's Cats grew and 7 1/2 years later, have saved the lives of almost 4,000 cats. Candy's Cats is a group of like-minded foster volunteers who open their homes and their pocket books to save the lives of throwaway, abandoned cats and kittens. We care for their medical needs and we find homes for them. No one is killed because we run out of room. Our volunteers are amazing and our standards are high for our medical care, and I'd like to see Candy's Cats receive the recognition it deserves.

Review for Spay n Save, Oviedo, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I'm Candy Sullivan, Founder of Candy's Cats, a non-profit cat rescue in Central Florida. The service performed by Spay n Save is vital to our local community and they've stepped up to the plate in a big way. First, they did a door-knocker TNR feral cats for free in one local community; then they took on the Free spay/neuter for Pit bull dogs. Until they came along, no one in Seminole County stepped up to the plate to offer what they do for anyone, whether they are J.Q. Public or local rescues; they've been blazing the way to a better future for the dog/cat population in Central Florida. In addition to the low cost spay and neuter, they also provide very low cost vaccination clinics and are making a major impact, changing lives for the better. When people can afford their veterinarian services, their animals are healthier. Thank you, Spay n Save, for your selfless service.
