I am a volunteer for Have A Heart, Inc and I have seen first hand the lengths they will go to in order to save a dog’s life. They rescue the most critical medical cases from Miami-Dade County Animal Shelter, a high kill county shelter. I have picked dogs up from the shelter and transported them directly to HAH’s vet so I have witnessed the medical care they receive and it is top notch! I have no doubt that if HAH hadn’t stepped up for each of these dogs they would have never left the shelter alive.
I have also had the pleasure of doing home checks and follow up visits for dogs that this rescue places in loving forever homes. Every family I have met has been wonderful and totally committed to their new family member(s). A dog rescued by HAH, Inc. has been rescued for life!
I am so grateful to Have A Heart, Inc. for all they do for the most vulnerable dogs in our community and I feel so very fortunate to be able to volunteer with such a professional, caring and dedicated rescue organization!

This wonderful organization has my support because a makes a tremendous impact on the lives of young men in NYC. It helps them gain valuable life lessons and gives them an outlet in which to play the sport they love--- baseball. The volunteers in this organization offer guidance and support to these young men throughout their lives. As a testament to the impact this organization has many of the young men return as volunteers to pat it forward.
