I attended some of the events that the Amazon Conservation Association held while I was living in Washington, DC and got to know some of the staff as well. As I learned more about their programs in the Amazon region, I was more and more impressed that a relatively small organization could do so much. I appreciate the hard-working staff and the thought and intention they put into all their work. I don't have a ton of money to give, but I give a little something to ACA every month because I know they'll take it and make every buck go toward the great work that they do.
