My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Staten Island Hope Animal Rescue Inc, Staten Island, NY, USA
After adopting a kitten the rescue group saved from the NYC AC&C kill list, my wife and I began Volunteering for Staten Island Hope Animal Rescue in January of 2014. We were very impressed with all the good they do to rescue animals. Staten Island Hope saves the lives of hundreds of cats every year giving them a second chance at life. They also take care of several feral cat colonies in the community as well as help people within the community find homes for stray kittens they find in their area or for pets they can sadly no longer keep. The selfless dedication of the President of rescue, Michelle Christofilakes, serves as an inspiration to all who volunteer.
Review for Unity a Journey of Hope, Vanderbilt, PA, USA
John and Bobbie Robinson of Unity: A journey of Hope are kind and very generous people that help make a difference in the lives of the sick and the suffering. Sometimes all it takes is a little kindness to have a big impact, but Unity doesn't do anything on a small scale. I was really touched when I saw them grant the wish of a wedding to a very ill man and his beloved bride. And that's only one example of all the great work that they do. These are selfless individuals who truly care and the people they help are blessed to have them. They make me want to be a better person too.
