Review for Candlelighters For Children With Cancer, Portland, OR, USA
Candlelighters gave us a place to "land" when we were swimming in the midst of our son's cancer diagnosis. Austin was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, age 4 Oct 2009. Candlelighters provided dinners at the hospital when we didn't have time to grab a bite to eat. They provide events throughout the year such as a Snowmobiling outing, CandyCane Lane, Annual Family Christmas Party and swim events. They provide two camps each year that we attend, Camp Harlow and Camp Agape. These camps brought us together with so many other families that are going through a similar journey. We no longer felt "alone". I can not say enough about the emotional healing that Candlighters has brought to our family. We do not have family in the area and Candlighters has become family to us. Thank you!

Review for Songs of Love Foundation, Forest Hills, NY, USA
Truly an inspiration for us when our son, age 4 was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma. The song they created still brings a smile to my face even when what we were experiencing was so incredibly difficult. The song captured everything about Austin's life at the time. The quality was professional and the song is engaging. I used this song as the background music for his "story". . . . . .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7YgDF5Cqhk.

Review for One Life, Vancouver, WA, USA
My son and I have volunteered for the last few years handing out food boxes on Sunday. We have watched many relationships form within the volunteers and those in need of services. Not only does One Life give food boxes, they have a "tasting" and a recipe on sundays of food that is in the food pantry, thus educating the recipients. I am thankful to be a part of this organization and have enjoyed watching it flourish in the community.

Review for World Eye Cancer Hope, Saint Louis, MO, USA
A mom of a child who was diagnosed with Unilateral Retinoblastoma in 2004, we are truly thankful for Daisys Eye Cancer Fund! Chalked full of information such as treatment options and practical support for families, it also offers a place to "give back". An organization that truly seeks to educate the world on Retinoblastoma and treatment options. I am thankful for such detail and care!
