My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Southeast Training Center, Chicago, IL, USA
This organization is a complete scam. The proprietor repeatedly abuses his power in the community and over the clientele. He cannot be stopped and calling the police on him or going to Lisa Madigan's office for assistance does nothing. The aldermen are in on this. This organization targets those that are helpless i.e. persons on drugs or with criminal backgrounds that cannot stand up for themselves. If one tries to stand up for himself, the proprietor threatens him with bodily harm and gang members that are his henchmen. People work for this agency and on behalf of this agency and are not paid. The proprietor borrows money from people and does not pay them back. He also has gained access to apartments in buildings that are foreclosed or otherwise vacant. The proprietor rents them to people unawares. When it is discovered that they are not supposed to be residing there, clients are thrown out. In my personal experience, the proprietor took money from my husband for one of these apartments. He turned on the electricity in my husband's name. The proprietor refused to refund my husband's money and threatened him, me, and my young child with bodily harm. The proprietor also lures women to the lair he has built inside the agency where he also lives. He has a jetted tub just beyond his conference room/offices where he romances them. To make matters worse there is now a ministry housed in the same building in order to pull the wool over as many eyes in the community as is possible to get this crook more grants and government money in order to cheat poor people/clients out of theirs. I am posting a video of one of the many times I was advised by the client to come and pick up my money for the apartment that never was. There were dozens of such occasions when the proprietor asked my husband and I to come to his office at 9AM then come back several times during the day until sending us away until the next day at 10PM. I hope that someday there will be some way to stop this person and crooked agency.
