My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Children of Grace, Danville, CA, USA
I first heard about Children of Grace in 2009 through my church, I was so touched I volunteered to join up with one of their teams going to run camp for middle school aged children... my life changed that week, forever. I continue to volunteer on a regular basis making an annual trip to Uganda each year as well as serving in many capacities at home. About the organization and people of Uganda they are so welcoming "you are most welcome" as they say. Children of Grace is a wonderful well run organization that is very responsive and thorough in their responsiveness to the needs of the children they serve. There are countless stories of children that would not have been educated without COG, others that without individualized medical care even be alive and thriving today. Children of Grace is a small non-profit yet very well run, the leadership team is continually striving for excellence by listening to the needs of their children and supporters. They have wonderful programs for the students outside their formal education; their goal is to not only educate children it is to raise them to be Godly people that are change agents for their families, communities and nation. They are doing just that. I am proud to be affiliated with this group. I have made four trips to COG, Jinja Uganda. It has been a pleasure to serve.
