Review for Neighbor Ride Inc, Columbia, MD, USA
Transportation is a huge challenge for the elderly and Neighbor Ride definitely helps to address this challenge. Two to three times a month, I drive people to doctor's appointments, the grocery store, religious services or any place they want to go. Most of these people had been able to drive but no longer can--something that is not easy for them to get used to. Neighbor Ride allows people to remain in their home connected to their community. I find it immensely satisfying to volunteer for this organization.
