Review for Big Cat Rescue, Corp., Tampa, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I've been a proud supporter of Big Cat Rescue for 25 years now and it remains, with Save the Children and the Snow Leopard Trust, my favorite charity. I feel that I have grown in my knowledge of the big cats and how to properly support them through BCR. We had a private tour on 8/16/19, which was fantastic. Barb was so gracious and many of the big cats came out to say hello (and show off), even though some of them are not that fond of constant rain. BCR is one of the premier sanctuaries in the world. Carole Baskin and the team have done an amazing job of creating a sanctuary where these cats will each receive the best care possible and where they will have a forever home. I know that my support will be used in the best way available and I feel confident in both financially supporting BCR and in using them as an example for others.

Review for International Snow Leopard Trust, Seattle, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have supported the Snow Leopard Trust for several years and I only have two regrets - that I can't donate more money and that I can't join them in their work in Asia. I love all animals but especially big cats. And the snow leopards are magical. The Snow Leopard Trust is working to track the leopards, to allow us to learn more about them in order to help protect them. And they are doing amazing work helping to set up plans with local people to protect both the leopards and the villagers' livelihood. This is critical work and their methods can be blueprints for work with other wildlife. This is the type of work that will help us save our planet. Nothing is more important.

Rating: 5 stars

I have been a loyal supporter of Big Cat Rescue for many years and dreamed of the day I could go visit the siteh. I finally had the opportunity last week and it was amazing. The concern that all of the staff and volunteers have for these magnificent creatures is amazing. I am proud to be affiliated, if only in a small way, with such a wonderful group. And I have learned a great deal over the years about helping protect the big cats.

I have been a supporter and fan of Big Cat Rescue for over 5 years and the more I learn about them, the more respect I have for the work they do. I have learned a great deal from the group about properly caring for rescued big cats and about how to prevent the abuse that so many big cats suffer at the hands of inconsiderate, irresponsible, uncaring or downright cruel humans. If I lived closer, I would be proud to be a hands-on volunteer. Carole Baskin and all of the staff and volunteers do an amazing job. One of my favorites, out of all the wonderful things that they do, is the domestic cat rescue assistance program - so that the volunteers can cuddle with cats. Watching the videos of the rescues of abused big cats shows how much they truly care for these majestic animals and how hard they work to give those cats a safe, healthy, and peaceful life.

I have been a volunteer, albeit on a small scale, and fan of Big Cat Rescue for approximately 5 years. I have been a volunteer in many areas for over 25 years and have respect and admiration for groups that are able to contribute to the betterment of the environment and the earth's inhabitants as BCR does. They are untiring in their efforts to protect the big cats who, while well able to defend themselves one-on-one with a seen foe, have little chance against the unscrupulous humans who have no respect for life. I am proud to be associated with an organization that speaks for those who cannot speak for themselves.
