Review for In-Sync Exotics, Inc., Wylie, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I completed an internship at In-Sync Exotics. As an intern, I received the opportunity to tour other facilities in the area as a learning experience. I learned that not only did In-Sync feel like the greatest sanctuary, by comparison to the others I visited, it is THE BEST sanctuary. The cats at In-Sync are clearly the first priority (like they should be). They are extremely well taken care of and loved by so many. The volunteers at In-Sync are loyal and hardworking and truly care for the well-being of these beautiful animals. These cats get the best of the best in every aspect--they have wonderful cages, playgrounds, nutritional plans, and enrichment. You can clearly tell that these cats feel loved as they always appear happy and excited to see their caretakers. One main difference I noticed between In-Sync and other sanctuaries was In-Sync's attention to the medical needs of their cats. The cats are even trained to accept medical treatment as needed without sedation--this is so important to ensure the cats get the medicines they need without causing risk or harm by sedation or stress. I have the utmost respect for the founder of this sanctuary--she's doing it all right. :)

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

wouldn't change a thing---but wish they could get more funding to continue doing the amazing job they're doing.
