Review for Nelle Norrell Foundation Methodist Hospital, Dallas, TX, USA

Rating: 1 stars

I would never go to this hospital or any of their affiliates ever again. If you look at their 2006 IRS Form 990 you will see that just over $11,000.00 dollars was spent on Indigent Programs or Patients, yet their CEO-April Box received over $386,000.00 in compensation for that year. They also claim that they only made a little over $23,000.00 in 2007. How can they pay their CEO over $386,000.00 if they only made $23,000.00. They need a serious audit from the IRS. They now have a new program (2009) for those people who have to make a payment to them due to lack of insurance coverage, deductible, etc. If you set a payment program with them to pay off your bill, you are immediately turned over to a collection agency. This is even if you are making your scheduled payments. If you do not make your payments, they immediately destroy your credit. These are more the actions of a greedy FOR PROFIT CORPORATION than any non profit I have ever heard of. There is no compassion here. Non profit corporations by their structure are to serve people and not make a profit off of people. Yet their CEO makes sure they get their cut first and if you can't pay, then they will destroy your credit even though they hide behind the disguise of being a friendly non profit hospital. Everybody BE WARNED ABOUT Methodist Hospital Dallas and the Nelle Norrell Foundation Methodist Hospital.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

They are no Good.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Lower the pay of the CEO to the real world economy that we are living in.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Writing a bad review so that others will know the TRUTH>

Ways to make it better...

Start with real customer care.
