Review for Young Life, Colorado Springs, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Young Life was one of the best experiences of my life. The people I met there have had a huge impact on my life, and I can thank Young Life for many of my best friends and closest mentors. Our group leaders are some of the best people on earth. They actually cared about us, and even now, 10 years after high school, they still keep in contact to make sure that we are living the kind of lives that will make us and our communities proud. I feel as though Young Life gave me a more fundamental understanding of the world, and a deeper understanding of myself at a time when many people feel lost. The YL camps and retreats that are offered are the best experience one could ever hope for. The bonding, and the self explorations that happen there could not be replaced for the world. I can only hope that YL will continue to grow as an organization and more youth will have the opportunity that we did to grow into wonderful, happy, successful, spiritual people. THANK YOU, YOUNG LIFE!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

every aspect of my life, everyday since I first went to Woodleaf camp.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

still be a part of it.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the continued relationships that it helped me build that are still strong today. It has been over 7 years since I graduated high school, and I still greatly value the people in my life. Many of these people I can thank Young Life for even being in my life

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

amazingly patient, understanding, encouraging, non-judgmental, and selfless.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the next generation of America's youth in to a generation that we as a culture could finally be more proud of than the last generation. With 10 million this organization could change the face of the future... into something positive.

Ways to make it better...

I had known about it sooner and been able to get more involved

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Its Christian basis and what that might mean to outsiders.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I love Young Life!!

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
