Review for Broadway Dreams Foundation Corporation, Alpharetta, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

BDF is a superb training program for students who seek careers in musical theatre. The summer intensive programs have seasoned Broadway professionals teaching the students and providing constructive, positive feedback. The concluding performance showcases how talented the students are. The program also instills self-confidence because the teaching is affirming and demonstrably helps students improve.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Review for Phoenix Multisport Inc, Denver, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This new nonprofit is establishing innovative programs to help those who wish to live a sober life engage in activities and form a new community to help them do so. The organization is currently working with an inpatient substance abuse treatment program in Denver as well as Drug Courts, in addition to providing programs for members of its community chapters in Boulder and Denver.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Boulder and Denver, Colorado.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

be trying to bring the programs to more people given the need is very great.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the passion and dedication that Phoenix staff bring to their jobs--they are literally saving lives.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

well-trained, appropriately certified and committed to helping people.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

take its model approach to many more parts of the country where additional people could benefit from it.

Ways to make it better...

they were in more locations.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

growing its funding base in this challenging economy.

One thing I'd also say is that...

This is an organization to watch and to support.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Donor & I helped with their annual fundraising dinners.
