Review for Idaho Drug-Free Youth Inc, Coeur D Alene, ID, USA
The culture of IDFY is one of education, empowerment, and fun! From the week to week chapter meetings in the schools, to the annual Idaho Youth Summit they hold, youth are experiencing an environment where they know they can be themselves, they can share their joys and worries, and they are encouraged on the path of healthy maturity.
Research proves that connectedness is essential to good health, good choices, and good behaviors. IDFY provides quality connectedness for thousands of youth across our great state!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
witnessing life changing - life saving - perspectives of kids in a matter of four days at camp. A safe, nuturing environment is cruicial to positive growth and for some of the kiddos who attend IYS, this is their only such experience. Participating in this environment opens their world to know better how they want their life to be, that they have the power to make their life as such, and that they deserve a good life!
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
want to secure long term funding so that the fantastic staff could focus even more energy and attention on developing and spreading IDFY programming to every corner of Idaho.
