Review for Diamond in the Rough Youth Development Inc, Snellville, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Diamond In The Rough is a magnificent youth development program that is revolutionizing the lives of young girls (ages 4 to 18) in order to help build their self-esteem, character and leadership skills. Further, Dr. Steele and her team of leaders, mentors, and volunteers are extremely passionate about empowering, educating, developing, guiding, advising, bonding and providing support to each girl to help them develop, grow, reach their goals and succeed in life. Furthermore, the girls within the organization receive emotional support, learn valuable life lessons, receive lots of hugs, compliments and words of encouragement to build their confidence. Diamond In The Rough is a phenomenal organization that is making a mark in the community, developing the next generation of leaders, providing a platform for girls to shine, making impartations, helping girls to fulfill their dreams and transforming the world one child…one family…one community at a time.

Review for Diamond in the Rough Youth Development Inc, Snellville, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Diamond In The Rough Youth Development, Incorporated is a phenomenal organization that has changed my life as well as my daughter's life. My daughter has blossomed in the cluster mentoring program for the past 8 years, progressed in the area of self-esteem and has developed into an awesome leader in the community as a result of the training offered in the C.O.R.E. Leadership Program, Priceless Peer Leadership Program and Diamond University Leadership Academy. In addition, my daughter has been exposed to awesome speakers, informative workshops, community service projects, educational fieldtrips and participated in various programs and college tours.

Further, the Executive Director, Nicole Steele is an awesome visionary, gifted curriculum writer and has a heart to educate, empower, train and transform the lives of young girls by getting them to understand their self-worth and value. Furthermore, the staff, mentors and volunteers are very caring, compassionate, driven and passionate about mentoring young girls. The Mentors also enjoy educating, supporting and helping families build healthy relationships.

Finally, being a part of Diamond In The Rough is like meeting an instant family that epitomizes the statement "It takes a village to raise a child." I would highly recommend this organization because they truly live up to their slogan which is "Transforming the world one child...one family...one community at a time."
