I learned about Lost Dog and Cat Rescue from my partner... a long time dog lover and Arlingtonian. We ate at both (or all three?) restaurants, which benefit the organization. When our beloved pup Tiny Bubbles died, we needed a new girl to round out our sad household. We went to Lost Dog's adoption event at Petco and we eventually adopted Truly. She was the cutest 3 month old pup, but was already adopted to a family, but they had to return her because she chased the family's 11 yr old cat. Well, to our blessing, we were the lucky adoptors, and she fits in wonderfully with our 12 yr old cat (her elder she respects), our 9 month old kittens (her playmates), and our 3 yr old puppy (her doting big sister). Lost Dog lovingly takes care of their puppies; taking them back when it's not a good fit and working to find the best fit. We LOVE them!
